Poppy hunting – a lesson in perspective

I’m on the hunt for a field of poppies. Not just a few stray heads dotted throughout the hedgerows, but a full-on carpet of fiery red.

Whilst today’s quest to find the perfect field proved unsuccessful, I did at least find a scattering of lonely heads desperately craving attention. Maybe less is more anyway?
