A memory-lane pre-wed shoot in historic Cambridge

“Dear Jo

Oh. My. God.

These are AMAZING!

How did you take us two such unphotogenic people and make such a great collection of photos out of us?! We are totally blown away.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

Truth is, I don’t believe there’s such a thing as ‘unphotogenic’. But more on that over here.

Getting this rather special feedback was the icing on the cake following Peter and Katherine’s fabulous Cambridge pre-wed shoot.

Every time I send out a gallery I do so with a little nervous trepidation and this gallery was no exception. No matter how much I love and believe in the images, the only thing that really matters is that my lovely couples do too.

This Cambridge pre-wed photoshoot was more than just a little bit special.

Peter and Katherine met at Cambridge University whilst studying at Wolfson College, so joining them in the historic city for their trip down memory lane, pausing for photos along the way was really rather fitting.

I was treated to my very own walking tour of Cambridge, with Peter and Katherine sharing their encyclopaedic knowledge of the architectural stories behind the city’s famous (and lesser-known) landmarks as we meandered our way from Wolfson College, though to University Library, pausing at Mathematical Bridge, Fitzbillies (where I was introduced to the absolute QUEEN of Chelsea buns) and the iconic Kings College Chapel.

Having their company and getting to know them and their story a little on their trip down memory lane was a real treat. Add in some epic autumnal colour and we’d got the perfect ingredients for a shoot to remember.

Here’s some of their highlights.

Peter and Katherine, you were an absolute joy. Thank you for trusting me to capture you.
