St.Michael’s Manor Wedding
Harriet and Jonny’s wedding at St.Michael’s Manor in St.Albans was always destined to be a celebration to remember.
For starters, these guys couldn’t possibly be any more in love if they tried. When I first met them for their pre-wed chat and photoshoot it was clear just how comfortable they are with each other. You only have to see how they look at each other to know they’re just meant to be. If you know Harriet and Jonny, you’ll know.
And then there’s the love they have for their family and friends. We spoke about their guest list, and all the people they were looking forward to bringing together for their celebration. After more than a year of lockdown restrictions, having all their dearest friends and family together in one room was going to be pretty special.
And of course, the venue. St.Michael’s Manor hotel in the ancient Hertfordshire city of St.Albans is a venue that wedding photographers love. The Orangery gets flooded with natural light – ideal for stunning ceremony and reception photos, whilst the grounds have plenty of backdrops for beautiful couple portraits and group shots.
Harriet and Jonny’s day was jam-packed with all the essential ingredients for a wedding to remember. Tears, laughter, love, friends and family reunions, speeches that pulled at all the heartstrings, epic flowers – seriously, just look at the floristry, beautiful portraits, a crazy dance floor and much, much more.

Wedding photographers truly have a privileged role and a huge responsibility to capture all of this. Thanks both for choosing me to capture your day. I hope I did it justice.
