Yellow, yellow, yellow – Bedfordshire photoshoot in the spring flowers

Apr 26, 2019 | FAMILIES

Every spring the golden rape fields take me by surprise. After the cold, monochrome winter, the carpets of bright, bright yellow that seem to appear overnight are a treat for the eyes.

Every year I hunt for a field suitable for family and children photoshoots – somewhere we can get close enough without actually touching or causing damage to the crops. Somewhere with a public footpath and easy access.

This year I found the perfect field. And then some.

Our little ramble to the rape fields took us across a railway bridge, over a river and through some rough meadows – the perfect recipe for a gallery of images bursting with colour and variety – despite the cold and grey day
