Outdoors Family Photoshoot in Bedfordshire
Q: What do you get when you mix: a soggy September morning in Bedfordshire, a fun-loving family ready for making some fabulous family photos, some ‘sploring in the woods, a gorgeous backdrop of heathland and the first autumnal leaves?
A: Magic like this.
I met these guys for a family photoshoot at a nature reserve near Biggleswade in Bedfordshire. With woods and open heathland it was the perfect location for natural family photographs. No posing, no ‘stand here’, ‘do this’, do that’. Just running and playing and having fun. That’s the best way to make genuine family photos.
Background – earlier in the year I did the event photography for a charity black tie do and fundraiser in Henlow, the Henlow Charity Ball. As my way of giving a little back to the local community, I donated a family photoshoot as a raffle prize. This lovely family of three were the lucky winners and I loved my morning in the Bedfordshire drizzle with them.
