Sunsets, silhouettes and Cambridgeshire family moments
The clocks going forward and start of British Summer Time is my absolute favourite time of the year. Other than when the first few buds of blossom emerge – that’s pretty special too. But the clocks going forward means summer is just around the corner. I love the sense of a fresh start and the anticipation of what’s to come.
As a family photographer, the changing clocks and promise of longer days also signals the start of more outdoor shoots as families book their sessions for natural photos in the great outdoors.
Losing an hour sleep is a thousand times worth it for the promise of long days, warm evenings… and sunsets like this
When I saw the sun setting in the open sky above Trumpington Meadows in Cambridge I grabbed my camera, my husband and my little girl and ran out to capture nature casually doing its thing.
Trumpington Meadows in Cambridgeshire is a beautiful 58 hectare nature reserve with flower meadows, woodland and ponds. It is managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.
